The Bible clearly teaches that your soul lives forever after you die. It will feel pleasure, and it will feel pain. If you are saved before you die, you will spend eternity in joy, comfort and peace in the very presence of Almighty God in a place called heaven. If you are not saved, you will spend eternity in a place called hell – in pain, suffering and torment in the presence of the devil. There is no in-between place; there is no death for your soul to escape punishment; there is no way to escape from hell and get into heaven. Your only chance to get things right is while you are alive on this earth. Yet the Bible clearly teaches that most people will get things wrong [Romans 3:23] – including many persons who call themselves Christians [Matthew 25:31-46]. Fulfillment is a word Christians use to tell about the immense personal satisfaction, happiness, comfort and contentment which only comes through living their life as Jesus wants. There is no way to describe what it’s like – you can only experience it to find out how wonderful it is. And there is no way to attain fulfillment other than through devotion to Jesus Christ.
