Steven Parker serves as our senior pastor. Steven and his wife Lisa were born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. Before coming to us, Steven served as the senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Cotulla and Community Baptist Church of Dublin and as the youth pastor at First Baptist Church of Hawley. Steven and Lisa have two children. Steven holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Logsdon Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Theology from Hardin-Simmons University. He is currently entering the final phase of a Doctor of Ministry Degree through the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Steven shares the vision of our church as it is expressed here and hopes that together we can expand upon this vision. Our Worship Pastor

Pastor Steven Chamblin leads the music portion of our worship services. Steve is a third generation pastor. His grandfather served as the pastor of several churches in the Houston/Katy area, and his father is the Minister of Music at Calvary Baptist Church in Nacogdoches, TX. Steve is proficient with the guitar, and excels at leading both traditional and contemporary services. He has written many songs, some of which are featured from time to time in our contemporary worship services. Last December, he wrote, produced, directed and starred in our Christmas pageant. Our Pastor of Missions

Pastor Guillermo Lopez directs our missions efforts. Pastor Lopez is an outstanding evangelist among the communities in South Texas, Mexico and Peru. Among other things, he has led pastor training seminars, has helped found ten churches, has worked with over 40 churches aboad, has handed out thousands of Bibles, has directed our disaster relief efforts, and has led dozens of trips to Latin America – in the last two years alone.
