Through Evangelism
We cross the border into Mexico several times each week. In addition, we have made more than two dozen major mission trips in Mexico and Peru. We use these as opportunities to preach the Gospel, teach Bible study, deliver dozens of cases of Bibles and Sunday school material, and provide food and financial aid.
This work has led to over 1,200 people being saved. Thousands more are now studying the Bible for the first time because they have one.
Our journeys include:
- Four trips to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to help our Eben-Ezer sister church by providing food and financial help to help feed those staying at the church’s shelter.
- Six trips to La Pesca, Tamaulipas, Mexico to do mission and evangelistic work plus “eye clinics,” vacation Bible schools, and delivering Bibles, literature, food and other goods.
- Four trips to the state of Guanajuato, Mexico that included stops in Leon, Irapuato, and Celaya to do evangelistic and mission work as well as showing the Passion of the Christ movie.
- Six trips to Galeana, Nuevo Leon, Mexico where we have also visited very remote communities to preach Jesus and the gospel.
- Five trips to Peru to work in Chimbote, Chicalayo, Chincha, Cusco, Lima, Pisco, Piura, and the jungle near Tarapoto.

By Healing
We treated more than 1,800 people at our “eye clinics.” We have fitted more than 1,800 pairs of eye glasses and have provided medicine to hundreds of others. You can learn more about this program here.
With Gifts
Our Women of Missions and other ladies from our church made more than 1,000 Christmas stockings which were distributed to various places in Mexico. You can learn more about this program here.
By Helping
We made 12 trips to Higuerillas south of Matamoros in Tamaulipas, Mexico to assist after Hurricane Emily (2005); several trips to New Orleans to assist after Hurricane Katrina (2005); other trips to Chiapas, Mexico to assist after Hurricane Stan (2005), two trips to Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to assist after a tornado struck that town (2006), and Pisco, Peru to assist after that city was devistated by an earthquake. In the process, we distributed several tons of goods, rebuilt six houses and were given a special commendation by FEMA. You can learn more about our relief efforts here.
With Financial Support
We provide financial assistance to two churches who feed orphans and street people – one 40 miles north of Matehuala, Mexico and the other in Huaraz, Peru. We enable a Christian school in Chimbote, Peru to stay open and continue to educate impoverished children. You can learn more about this ministry here.
We also support two Christian missionary couples who are working in an undisclosed location, for obvious reasons.
